Spread a thin layer over the bottom layer (sphagnum moss, hydro pellets, clay substrate) before adding soil on top of the activated carbon. Using activated carbon in your terrarium reduces odors and filters the water in your closed ecosystem, making it cleaner for the plants and the entire ecosystem.

The plants can remain in the box for up to 48 hours after delivery. Giving it as a gift? Then select your preferred delivery date in the shopping cart, or unpack the plants upon arrival and give them some water, daylight, and a bit of love.
You will receive the product as shown in the product photo with a white background. Other photos are for inspiration, atmosphere, or examples.
After Christmas, you can reuse the terrarium by removing the festive decoration or refreshing it completely with a terrarium refill set.
Because it contains seasonal products, the contents may differ slightly from the photo. We always ensure a suitable and atmospheric replacement.
Plants such as Aloe Humilis and Picea are not typical terrarium plants and will not stay beautiful as long in a closed terrarium compared to plants that are specially suited for it.
The terrarium does not include a cork. Our limited Christmas editions are offered without a cork because the decorative items are not designed for a closed terrarium. Make sure to keep the plants and moss inside the terrarium moist at all times.

Cushion moss or bun moss (Latin name: Leucobryum glaucum) is ideal for use in terrariums or closed mini ecosystems. This bag contains 2 pieces of fresh moss, a handy amount for a smaller terrarium or for filling in the last bare spots. Our moss is always fresh, green, moist and ready to use. It is sourced from Poland, where it grows in designated and well maintained areas.

Use this moss to decorate your plant terrarium or to cover bare spots in the soil or against the background. It works in both open and closed terrariums, and also outside the glass as green decoration in a bowl or on a plant tray.
