Czego potrzebujesz do ogrodu w butelce?
Najważniejsze rzeczy do ogrodu w butelce wymienimy szybko: szklane naczynie, podłoże i oczywiście rośliny. Jeśli nie wiesz, od czego zacząć, w naszym sklepie możesz kupić zestaw Do It Yourself (DIY), w którym dobraliśmy już odpowiednie materiały. Jest też instrukcja, jak wszystko złożyć.
Szklane naczynie powinno być dość duże, aby pomieścić podłoże i rośliny. Najlepiej nadają się brąchate butelki, które da się szczelnie zamknąć. Zanim założysz biotop, dokładnie wyczyść naczynie. Przepłukanie go gorącą wodą zabije zarodniki pleśni i zarazki, które mogłyby zaszkodzić ogrodowi.
Podłoże składa się z dwóch warstw. Dolna warstwa powinna być przepuszczalna dla wody, na przykład z keramzytu, żwiru lub granulatu lawowego. Ta drenażowa warstwa powinna mieć około 5 cm. Dzięki niej woda nie gromadzi się w górnej warstwie z ziemi i nie powoduje pleśni.
Ponieważ klimat w ogrodzie w butelce jest raczej wilgotny i ciepły, do nasadzeń najlepiej nadają się tropikalne rośliny do terrarium. Rolę rośliny okrywowej mogą przejąć na przykład mchy, jak torfowiec. Gatunki o fascynujących wzorach liści, jak calathea, fittonia czy paprocie, przyciągają spojrzenia. Do ogrodu w butelce można też posadzić małe storczyki, na przykład mini Phalaenopsis. Rośliny w naszych zestawach DIY dobraliśmy tak, aby na pewno dobrze czuły się w nowym domu.
To, czy dodasz inne dekoracje, jak kolorowe kamyki, małe figurki albo łańcuch świetlny, zależy od ciebie i twojej kreatywności. Z odpowiednimi trikami ogród w butelce szybko wygląda jak własny mały świat.

Roślinom szkodzi też zbyt wysoka temperatura w małym szklanym naczyniu, więc unikaj miejsca tuż przy grzejniku. Idealna temperatura to 15 do 25 °C, dlatego terraria stawiaj tylko w domu.
Jak prawidłowo pielęgnować ogród w butelce?
Po założeniu ogrodu w butelce według instrukcji z naszych zestawów DIY podlewasz go i szczelnie zamykasz. Dobór odpowiedniej ilości wody bywa trudny: najlepiej obserwuj terrarium przez kilka dni. Szklane ścianki powinny być rano zaparowane, ale w ciągu dnia wysychać. Za dużo wody widać po dużych kroplach spływających po wewnętrznej stronie butelki. Wtedy otwórz naczynie, aby część nadmiaru wody mogła odparować.
Zazwyczaj gdy zamknięty ekosystem się ustabilizuje, nie musisz już się o mały ogród troszczyć. Co sześć miesięcy może być jednak potrzebne dolanie odrobiny wody. Kieruj się wilgotnością ziemi: jeśli wygląda sucho, otwórz butelkę na chwilę i sprawdź, jak wilgotna jest naprawdę. Gdy jest zbyt sucha, dodaj 50 do 100 ml wody. Aby rośliny rosły równomiernie, możesz też dwa razy w miesiącu obrócić naczynie o jedną czwartą.
